When Anjelica reached out and shared some details about her and Brian’s Jersey City NJ wedding, it was evident their day would be planned with intention and filled with SO.MUCH.LOVE. The couple chose Liberty House for their wedding venue, as a nod to the night they got engaged. Their wedding exuded an upscale New York City style, blending seamlessly with a touch of modern minimalism. The color scheme of black and white, accented by delicate touches of greenery, created a timeless and refined atmosphere. The talented lens of J&R Photography perfectly captured every moment below, while La Bella Planning ensured that every detail went off without a hitch. Anjelica and Brian’s beloved Corgi, Darla was an integral part of their celebration (some might say she even stole the show) making this duo’s wedding a truly unforgettable day filled with love and companionship.
Family and friends were introduced to the timeless color palette as soon as they received their Lace and Belle invitations. The striking black envelopes not only stood out in the mail, but added another level of sophistication with guest addresses printed in white ink. Opening the envelopes revealed the curated suite secured with a black belly band wrap. The invitation card was digital flat printed on double-thick white cotton card stock for an elevated and luxurious feel. The details card and response cards were printed on 120# white cotton card stock. A modern script typeface perfectly paired with a traditional serif font. Their wedding paper came full circle as a sketch of Darla was transformed into a custom wax seal stamp to embellish the belly band wrap.
Anjelica’s Justin Alexander gown was an understated style. The form-fitted silhouette featured a scoop neckline, and straps, that were accented with pearls cascading down her cathedral-length veil. Brian sported a classic black suite with white shirt and pocket square, black tie, and shoes.
Nestled in Jersey City, Liberty House offered guests sweeping views of the iconic New York City skyline. A backdrop that’s not only picturesque, but also a nostalgic reminder of the city where their love story began. Anjelica and Brian tied the knot in the romantic gardens during an outdoor ceremony as family and friends took in the moment.
Anjelica and Brian opted for a custom acrylic seating chart in lieu of traditional escort cards. Guest seating assignments were presented on three acrylic panels guiding guests to their reception tables, while adding a wow factor, too! Each panel was hand lettered in white ink and flood painted in black paint. A coordinating welcome sign warmly welcomed guests into Liberty House. The signature drink sign paid a heartwarming tribute to Darla, and displayed the couple’s chosen speciality drinks for the evening. Frosted acrylic table numbers added a refined look to the tables decorated in white linens with greenery and romantic candlelight.
Congratulations Anjelica and Brian! It was an absolute pleasure bringing your vision to life for your Jersey City wedding. I can’t wait to watch your love unfold in this next chapter of your love story!
