Kelly and Christopher are the absolute sweetest couple EVER. It’s hard to believe they’ll be celebrating one year married next month and honestly, it feels like yesterday we were just sitting down to chat about all things pretty paper for the first time. Ahhh! Where does the time go?! The duo–who got engaged while in Paris during their four year anniversary trip–wed on a beautiful winter day in March at Rock Island Lake Club with Molly Sue Photography behind the lens. Kelly donned the most gorgeous ball gown with intricate lace detailing designed by Ashley Justin Bride and Christopher sported a gray tux with brown shoes, white shirt, tie, and pocket square. Even though it was a cold winter day, they still had an outdoor ceremony and said “I Do” under a wood arbor decorated in flowing white fabric and florals with the lake as their backdrop. So dreamy! The couple’s adorable dog, Maple, was given the title “pup of honor” and also joined in for some wedding portraits. Can you handle the cuteness?! (Fun Fact: Since Kelly and Christopher married, they added a second furbaby named Oakley to their family!)
Kelly and Christopher’s stationery journey began with custom vellum overlay-style save the dates featuring one of their favorite engagement photos. When designing their wedding invitations, Kelly and Christopher loved the monogram from the Briar Rose invitation suite from the Lace and Belle wedding collection, as well as the more casual layout. We used those two elements to create a personalized suite that was elevated with signature Lace and Belle calligraphy, venue sketch belly band wraps, blush envelope liners, and gray envelopes.
