It’s the most wonderful time of the year! What is it about Christmas that just fills your heart with so much joy? For most (including myself), it’s the nostalgia behind the season. Yes, gift giving is an added bonus, but as the years go on, you begin to realize how the holidays are more about the happy memories–both new and old–shared with loved ones. It’s baking cookies using Grandma’s recipe(s), enjoying a cozy evening drinking spiked cider or boozy hot chocolate by the fireplace, singing your favorite Christmas carols, and of course, trimming the tree with your most sentimental ornaments. Christmas is by far the most special season, and it’s easy to see why so many engaged couples choose to host a holiday-infused wedding. If you’re searching for romantic ways to incorporate a touch of holiday magic through intentional decor, look no further than this classic Christmas wedding inspiration!
In the gallery captured by Amber Dawn Photography below, you’ll find details that are a node to both Christmas past and future. Think twinkling lights, season color hues, beautiful florals by Bloom Flower Co., sparkle, evergreen, and cedar notes! Plus, the ceremony decor is the perfect marriage incorporating traditional trees flanking a berry embellished, wood A-frame arch. Then there’s hunter green ceremony chairs decorated with garland, and an aisle lined with lanterns and pine cones. Not to mention, the form-fitted bridal gown wore by Lauren Ashley might be one of my favorites to date. Talk about some serious sparkle! And what’s a classic Christmas styled shoot without snow? The Lace and Belle invitation suite featured modern calligraphy and deckled edge paper reminiscent of the season’s first glistening snow fall.
I can easily go on for hours about this incredibly romantic styled shoot. It was such a dream to collaborate with this dream team, especially my friends at Pennsylvania Weddings. I hope this seasonal wedding inspiration fills your heart with joy.
