Something Borrowed

Your details matter. After all, your wedding day is the biggest event you'll ever plan and just like your marriage, you want it to stand the test of time. It's here in my journal where I share a piece of my heart from love stories, inspiration, love letters, and all things pretty.

Dreamy Kiss the Girl Inspired Styled Shoot at Historic Strawberry Mansion

“Look at this styled shoot, isn’t it neat? Wouldn’t you think this wedding is complete?” Okay, I know that’s not how the song really goes, but if Ariel were a real life princess tying the knot, I bet that’s what she would sing. Y’all might already know how obsessed I already am when it comes to all things Disney, so when I saw Jess Palatucci Photography was planning a princess-inspired styled shoot series, I immediately reached out and asked if I could join in on the fun. From the beachy color palette to the sweetheart table details, seashell embellished boutonnière, and dessert spread, this wedding inspiration is Ariel and Prince Eric like you’ve never seen before. And is this not the perfect duo to play the parts?! Not to mention, the playfulness, yet edginess of the bridal gown designed by Sweet Caroline Styles and House of Elliot shoes just might be my new favorite.

And then there’s the custom Lace and Belle wedding invitation suite! I incorporated blue watercolor into the design and modern calligraphy with white hand torn paper for a soft ethereal look. I added a pop of color with hand lettered gray envelopes. (Pro tip: Have some fun with the verbiage on your enclosure cards to show off your personality. In this case, I added “Raise the Sails, We’ll be there!” and “Lost at Sea, Declines with regret” for the response lines.)

Dreamy wedding inspiration that’s coastal chic and as delicate as a sea breeze.

Every single detail was so effortlessly executed and it comes as no surprise when you have so many talented vendors join creative forces. See how this wedding inspiration was brought to life below and then head on over to take a peek at more over on A Princess Inspired!
