Y’all…get ready to fall oh-so-in love with Alyson and Daniel’s waterside wedding on the Hudson! Think skyline views, soft and neutral colors, the prettiest light, and so many darling details that harmoniously blends nautical elegance with the city. Oh, and how can I forget that their super adorable (and rather dapper) French Bulldog, named Pinot makes an appearance, too! Add in ethereal florals by Beethoven’s Veranda, a gorgeous lace Alvina Valenta gown, a picturesque NYC location with sweeping waterside views, and you have yourselves one ahhhh-mazing gallery captured by HK Photography that re-defines coastal elegance.
As for the custom Lace and Belle invitations? Well, Ally said it best, “This design was exactly what we were thinking BUT better – we LOVE it!” As soon as Ally reached out and revealed the inspiration for her wedding day, a concept immediately came to mind. The modern invitation suite was flat printed on white card stock featuring an anchor motif with an interlocking monogram, and a calligraphy-inspired flourished script paired with serif typefaces. The entire suite was completed with a navy belly band wrap flat printed in white ink with the phrase “Love anchors the soul.” The design was carried through the day-of stationery including ceremony programs, two seating charts, menu cards, and stickers which were added to the to-go boxes for their slider cart.
Even with an unforeseen circumstance that left them to quickly find a new location (which turned out to be pretty spectacular), the wedding day went off without a hitch.
