Kara and John’s wedding at Battello is as chic and romantic as they come. I first met this darling couple at the Hudson Wedding Social last year where we got to chat all about their wedding and day-of stationery options. Once they revealed the design inspiration behind their big day, I immediately knew their wedding was going to be filled to the brim with the prettiest details. Kara and John’s rustic and simplistic aesthetic was carried out through their day-of stationery in the lovely color palette of soft blush, ivory, navy and a touch of gold. Kara and John first chose modern ceremony programs digitally printed in white ink on navy linen card stock for an unexpected twist on tradition. Post ceremony, guests found their seats with ivory scalloped tags hand lettered in gold ink that gracefully hung on a large white frame topped off with a floral garland, which made for a gorgeous wedding day detail. I also designed their custom monogram menu cards, love is sweet favor tags, and in loving memory of and cards + gifts signage, as well as their gold foiled cocktail napkins that included the phrase “Drunk in Love” with their wedding hashtag and wedding date. So fun!
After all, it’s hard to not to fall in love with the waterfront location of Battello offering NYC skyline views, the romantic floral design by Linda’s Florist and that too pretty to eat cake from The Hudson Cakery. Congratulations again to the happy couple (aka- the bubbies!). The love you two have for each other is evident through each and every photo and I’m honored you chose Lace and Belle to design your wedding day-of stationery.
