I’m so so so excited about the new look for Lace and Belle, but before I chat all about the new website, I wanted to share a little about the inspiration behind the new brand. Although I did a brand refresh (or site lift, if you will) last year, I still felt like there was something missing. I was feeling completely disconnected to my brand and while I remained content for a while, deep down I knew the refresh just didn’t reflect me and my classic minimalist style. My brand no longer portrayed who I was or the direction I wanted to take my custom invitation and hand lettering business, so a re-brand was essential before the New Year.
From those keywords, everything else seemed to come together effortlessly, keeping the belief that bespoke stationery and hand lettered notes will always convey a heartfelt message at the very center of the brand. For the main logo, I wanted something that was simple, easy to read, and a design that would stand the test of time. The secondary logo was where I decided to pull in a hint of whimsy through a watercolor brush stroke and a hand lettered ‘LB’ monogram. The overall design turned out to be the perfect fit for my classic and simplistic style. So, what do y’all think….do you love or LOVE?!
