A Classic Jersey City Wedding | Jenn + Saurabh
Jennifer and Saurabh spared NO detail when it came to their classic Jersey City wedding. From our first conversation, I knew Jennifer had a clear vision and she was going to bring it to life in the most beautiful way! A true paper lover with an eye for detail, Jennifer made every element feel intentional and cohesive. Designing for her (and her husband, Saurabh!) was such a joy. Plus, Jennifer is cousin’s with one of my 2018 brides, which made working together feel like catching up with family! Jennifer and Saurabh exchanged vows at Liberty House in Jersey City, set against the iconic NYC skyline. With sweeping waterfront views and a color palette of blush and soft neutrals, their wedding was the perfect blend of romantic and modern. Every thoughtful moment was captured by Idalia Photography, who documented their day blending a classic and photojournalistic approach.
THE FINER PAPER DETAILS
Romantic, elegant, and classic. This duo’s invitation suite checked ALL the boxes! The classic Jersey City wedding invitations were letterpress printed with metallic gold foil accents for a dreamy combination of texture and shine. A custom monogram added a personal touch, while the blush-colored details card gave the suite a subtle pop of color. Additionally, each suite was wrapped in an ivory metallic belly band and tucked into a floral-lined envelope.
A frosted acrylic welcome sign warmly welcomed loved ones. Nearby, guests found their seats on the Savannah mirror, a Lace and Belle rental, with guest names hand-lettered in white ink and the phrase “Your seat awaits” at the top. Floral swag from Arcadia Floral Company tied both pieces together beautifully, creating a cohesive and stylish entrance moment.
Jennifer and Saurabh also made a meaningful gesture in lieu of traditional favors by donating to the Blind Dog Rescue Alliance in memory of Max, the bride’s beloved dog. It was such a heartfelt and thoughtful way to include his memory in their day.
