Three Popular Wedding Invitation Styles

We’ve already covered what to include in a wedding invitation suite, as well as invitation printing methods, so let’s dive a little deeper into three of the most popular invitation styles. The base of your invitation is essentially the foundation to the overall invitation aesthetic. There are quite a few options to choose from, but these three styles are the most popular options among Lace and Belle couples.

Panel card invitations (or flat cards) are the most common invitation style, as it can be the most affordable when paired with digital printing. Flat card invitations can be as simple as a single layer or can be mounted for a double-layer or triple-layered look to reveal a colored border around your invitation.

Back pocket invitations are all business in the front, but a PARTY on the back. While they are similar to a pocket fold style, the back pocket option offers a modern twist on the traditional pocket fold with your invitation mounted on the front and the enclosure cards neatly tucked into the back pocket when flipped over.

Pocket fold invitations open to reveal your wedding invitation with a pocket to hold your wedding paper accompaniments. This is a great option if you have several enclosure cards and want to keep everything organized in one place.

If you’re not sure which invitation style is best suited for your wedding aesthetic, a professional stationer will offer advice and help put you on the path for an invitation style that fits within your budget. Are you ready to get the wedding invitation process started? Let’s chat! I can’t wait to hear from you! Xo
